We're delighted to share that the 2023 IEEE Power & Energy Society Awards have been announced, and this year, we're celebrating the incredible achievements of three of our alumni: Damir Novosel, Marko Delimar, and Hrvoje Pandžić!

🌟 Damir Novosel has been awarded the prestigious IEEE PES Leadership in Power Award for promoting and mentoring electric power and energy engineers while creating bridges between the electric power industry and different stakeholders, including government, regulatory bodies, companies, universities, and industry groups.

⚡ Marko Delimar has been awarded the IEEE PES Robert Noberini Distinguished Contributions to Engineering Professionalism Award for contributions and leadership to IEEE and PES professional activities in support of Student Members and Public Policy.

🌐 Hrvoje Pandžić, along with his co-authors, has been recognized with the IEEE PES Prize Paper Award for their exceptional work on the article "Energy-Storage Modeling: State-of-the-Art and Future Research Directions," published in the esteemed IEEE Transactions on Power Systems.

Damir Novosel currently holds the position of President at Quanta Technology, and his academic journey includes a notable M.Sc. from FER in 1987. Both Marko Delimar and Hrvoje Pandžić are professors at the Department of Energy and Power Systems at FER.
