Our colleagues Nikolina Čović, Petra Drašković, and Matko Mesar visited the research group of Professor Yang Dechang at the College of Information and Electrical Engineering, China Agricultural University two weeks ago. During their visit, they discussed future research directions and they visited world-famous Chinese landmarks such as the Great Wall of China and the Forbidden City. After Beijing, together with prof. Yang's students, they visited Chongqing where they participated in the iSPEC 2023 conference.
Upon their return, all three of them expressed great enthusiasm for the hospitality of their Chinese colleagues who had prepared for them 10 unforgettable days in China. As the ancient Chinese philosopher Confucius would say: "It is a pleasure to have friends coming from abroad", we hope that soon we will be able to host them equally well when they visit our department in Croatia!
